Our aim is to provide an ethos which helps children develop into confident, well motivated and hard working pupils who enjoy school and have a high self esteem.

ECO ACTION DAY

Garway Primary School is celebrating its 3rd successive Eco Schools “Green
flag” award. As only the second school in Herefordshire to achieve this prestigious
award, pupils, staff, parents and governors have had to demonstrate a
commitment to making environmental issues a part of school life.

WIND TURBINE AND SOLAR PANEL INSTALLATION

We are pleased to announce that our planning application for a small wind turbine and solar panels in the school grounds has been passed by the parish council and will be considered by the Area Planning Committee on 8 January 2009.

Our application results from a successful bid for 100% grant funding and would enable utilities costs to be reduced, to the benefit of the school, community and Council. click here for our letter seeking support and click here for a sample letter that can be sent to the Area Planning Committee.
