Home :: Location and Description of Garway Garway Farmers Market A Farmer's Market is held at Garway Village Hall on the first Thursday of each month commencing at 3.00pm. There are a wide variety of stalls selling food, crafts, gifts, local newspapers and magazines and offering services. The food stalls offer meat (pork, lamb, beef and sausages), fresh vegetables (in season), ice cream, bread, granola and home made cakes, jams and preserves. There is a fair trade stall and a bring and buy stall which is run by different organisations each month including the Playgroup, the School, the Youth Club and Age Concern. A local computer expert has a stall where his services are advertised and advice offered. Every four months a licence is obtained to sell cider and wines. Originally planned to run just in the warmer months, the monthly market has proved to be so popular that it has been continued through the winter. As well as offering local produce and products for sale, it is an opportunity for local people to meet one another.
